About Logan
Logan is a former coach with the prestigious US Chess Academy, and current chess coach at Holt Elementary and has over 10 years of chess and music education experience. A highly experienced coach and player, and 2022 Santa Barbara County Chess Champion, he is also an accomplished music instructor having educated more than 200 private students from ages 6 to 80+ in guitar, bass, ukulele, music theory, and more. He holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. When not teaching, he enjoys hiking, running, reading, hanging out with his cat, and of course – playing music and chess!
